Satty Nkhata is the finance manager of Mpulungu Harbour Corporation Limited. His key value is in: (i) sharping the firm’s management of finances (ii) formulation and implementation of the financial strategies that support the overall strategic direction.
He is a Global Chartered Management Accountant, a Chartered Secretary and, after a long abscondment, he has registered to take the Level III exams of the CFA Institute in June 2021. In addition, Mr. Nkhata holds a BBA degree (with a major in economics and finance) from the Copperbelt University, an MSc in finance from the University of Leicester. Moreover, he has an MPhil in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch.
He previously worked as the Chief Operating Officer for Equity Capital Resources, Head of Finance for Focus Financial Services, Relationship Manager-CIB for Investrust Bank and Director-Risk, Audit and Compliance for Finance Building Society among many others. He has over 20 years industrial experience and approximately 24 years of service as part-time and/or full-time lecturer in financial reporting, management accounting, treasury, fund management, taxation, corporate finance, investment banking, financial markets and many more.
